Petoskey Tile Set - these handmade ceramic art tiles are a depiction of the Michigan state stone....the Petoskey stone. For those that don't know, Petoskey stones are fossilized colonial coral. These corals lived in warm shallow seas that covered Michigan during Devonian time, some 350 million years ago.
This set of tiles are ideal for being hung on a wall separately or framed. Each ceramic tile is pressed into an original hand carved mold, and then glazed using a bulb syringe in a variety of commercial glazes. The dimensions of each tile are roughly 5.5"x5.5", the over all piece when hung is 11"x11".
Please keep in mind that since each tile is hand pressed and glaze, variations are to be expected. This is just part of the beauty of handmade tiles!
*The available quantity may vary! Given the diverse styles, tiles are crafted upon order placement, and the production timeframe extends up to three weeks. If a swifter delivery is required, kindly inquire about the current in-stock options.
